1. The agreement
By installing or using Globby you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to the app. Where the two conflict about the app itself, Apple's EULA wins; where they conflict about Globby Pro, gameplay, or accounts, these terms win. Globby is provided by FOP Oleh Boichuk ("we"). How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
Globby creates an account for you automatically. It is identified by a random player ID kept in your device's keychain, and synced through iCloud Keychain if you use it. You do not need to register and there is no password, so if you lose access to all your devices and your iCloud Keychain we cannot restore the account. You are responsible for what happens under your account on your devices. You can delete the account at any time in Settings; see deleting your account.
If you are under the age of digital consent where you live (13 to 16, depending on the country), use Globby with a parent's or guardian's permission. Some features are limited for younger players.
3. Globby Pro subscription
What it is. Globby Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. It currently includes unlimited lives, every globe style and plane, streak saves, and the full Mastery Map comparison, as shown in the in-app offer when you subscribe. We may improve or adjust Pro features, for example to keep the game balanced. If a change would reduce what you get by more than a minor amount, we will tell you in the app beforehand. You can then end the subscription within 30 days of the change and, where the law gives you that right, ask Apple for a refund of the unused period.
Plans and price. Yearly or monthly. The price is shown in the app and on the App Store in your local currency before you subscribe. A free trial may be offered; whether it applies and how long it lasts are shown before you confirm the purchase.
Renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of a free trial. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Deleting Globby does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling a trial at least 24 hours before it ends means you pay nothing.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring. If Pro does not show on a device signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore purchases in Settings.
4. Lives and refills
Duels use lives, which refill over time. You can also buy a refill in the app: a one-time purchase that fills your lives back to full, as shown on the offer before you buy. Refills are used up on delivery and are not refundable through us; like all purchases, they are sold and refunded by Apple. We do not offer a refill while your lives are already full.
5. Fair play
Do not cheat, use bots or automation, exploit bugs, manipulate matchmaking or leaderboards, or interfere with other players' games. Our servers check answers and scores, and results that fail these checks do not count. We may void results, remove scores, exclude accounts from leaderboards, or suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.
6. Names and avatars
Your display name and avatar are visible to other players. Do not use names that impersonate others or that are offensive, hateful, or sexual. We may change or reset a name that breaks this rule, and players can report or block it in the app.
7. Content and maps
The globe, question data, artwork, and code are ours or used under licence (credits are listed in the app). Map boundaries and names are shown for gameplay and do not express any opinion about the legal status of any country, territory, or boundary.
8. Availability
Online features (duels, leaderboards, the Daily Challenge) need a connection to our servers. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may take the service down for maintenance. Solo play works offline. If no other player is available for a duel, you may be matched with a computer-controlled opponent.
9. No warranty and limitation of liability
Globby is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Globby and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. If we restrict your account, name, or results, you can ask us why and ask us to review the decision at [email protected].
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version. We will announce significant changes in the app at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use Globby after that means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using Globby and delete your account.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
